Weapon Observed

Officers observed a compound bow in a vehicle. The Campus Police Chief instructed the owner of proper storage procedure while on campus.

 

Oct. 3

 

12:13 a.m., Living and Learning Center

Odor Investigation

Campus Police received a report of marijuana odor. An officer located the source, identified an individual and seized items. A citation and judicial report were filed.

 

3:00 p.m., Larkspur Lodge

Criminal Mischief

A vendor reported that an unknown person vandalized a clothes dryer.

 

Oct. 4

 

12:06 a.m., Larkspur Lodge

Criminal Trespass

While on foot patrol, officers observed several individuals who were not permitted on campus. The individuals were cited and escorted from campus.

 

7:10 p.m., Student Union

Fire

A small fire resulted from a cooking demonstration. The fire was extinguished and there were no injuries or damages.

 

 

 

 

Oct. 5

 

12:38 p.m., Adirondack Shelter/Nature Trail

Suspicious Activity

While on foot patrol, officers observed several individuals at the Adirondack shelter. There also was a marijuana smell. Individuals fled upon seeing the officers. The area was checked with negative results.

 

7:45 p.m., Highfield Avenue

Injured Person

An individual who was participating in the Light the Night event twisted a knee. The individual refused medical treatment. Officers assisted the individual to a vehicle.

 

Oct. 6

 

11:41 p.m., Sunset Lodge

Intoxicated Person

There was a report of an alcohol violation. The individual was identified and released to a friend for the night.

 

2:03 a.m., Laurel Hall

Alcohol Violation

An individual was transported to Windber Medical Center via emergency medical services. A citation and judicial reports were filed.

 

3:03 a.m., Highland Townhouse

Criminal Mischief

Vandalism was done to university property. Charges were filed against two students.
