Police received a report of an individual who found a small plastic bag of marijuana while walking toward Student Union.

Alcohol Violation

An individual was identified by police officers. Officers released him to his roommate.

 

4:45 p.m., Student Union

911 Hang-up

County 911 Center worker reported a 911 hang-up call. The area was checked and with no results.

 

7:46 p.m., Highfield Avenue

Traffic Stop

Officers observed a vehicle driven in a careless manner. A citation for careless driving was given to Jared Carter.

2:38 p.m., Student Union

Suspicious Person

Police received report of an individual disability pamphlets for the presidential campaign in the cafeteria. He left before officers arrived.

Request for Officer

Officers received request to allow entrance to a student into his building.

 

3 p.m., Student Union

Ill Person

Police received a request to transport an ill person to an area hospital.

 

6:21 p.m., Hickory Hall

Request for Officer

Unknown actors activated a fire alarm. Police officers reset the alarm.

 

6:50 p.m., Hickory  Hall

Fire Alarm

Police received a report of a fire alarm. It was activated by burning food.

Assault

Housing and Resident Life  Office staff reported an assault. Police conducted an interview and filed a judicial report.

Ill Person

Police received a report of an ill person. He was transported to Windber Medical Center emergency room.

Attempt to Locate

Officers received a report of a mother unable to contact her daughter. While attempting to locate the individual, a call was received that contact had been restored.
