Citations filed for alleged violations

Pitt-Johnstown police accused Giovanni Valforte, 18, of Pittsburgh, of purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of liquor or malt or brewed beverages Oct. 12.

Officer Dan Smith alleged, in a citation filed Oct. 12, that Valforte was less than 21 years old and consumed a malt or brewed beverage.

A $461 fine was listed for the offense.

Pitt-Johnstown police accused Gavin Nicholls, 21, of Huntingdon, of failure to stop at a stop sign and yield sign Oct. 19.

Officer Matthew Updyke alleged, in a citation filed Oct. 19, that Nicholls failed to stop at a posted stop sign on Student Union Drive.

A $143 fine was listed for the offense.

Pitt-Johnstown police accused Nicole Kuhar, 19, of Allison Park, Allegheny County, of disorderly conduct Oct. 19.

Officer Matthew Updyke alleged, in a citation filed Oct. 24, that Kuhar intentionally caused public inconvenience, annoyance or alarm by creating a hazardous condition with an act that served no legitimate purpose.

He also alleged Kuhar was in possession of a pipe with marijuana residue.

A $261 fine was listed for the offense.
