Marijuana citations filed against 2

Pitt-Johnstown police accused Logan Keach, 18, of Pittsburgh, of disorderly conduct Sept. 28.

Officer James Voytko Jr. alleged, in a citation filed Oct. 1, that Keach possessed a small amount of marijuana.

A $461 fine was listed for the offense.

Pitt-Johnstown police accused Darren Brautigam, 19, of Gibsonia, Allegheny County, of disorderly conduct Oct. 1.

Officer Matthew Updyke said, in a citation filed Oct. 4, that Brautigam intentionally created public inconvenience, annoyance or alarm by creating a hazardous or physically offensive condition by smoking marijuana and possessing marijuana paraphernalia.

A $261 fine was listed for the offense.

The officer investigating this occurrence was extremely rude and inconsiderate with giving me respect at that time. There was no time where I was “intentionally” created a “public inconvenience, annoyance, or alarm” at any moment in time. Also, there was nothing hazardous about this whole situation. I fully cooperated and didn’t cause any problems with the police. I respect the actions of police officers, but I feel as if there are many major things they should worry and get upset about other than this.
