Underage alcohol citations are filed

Pitt-Johnstown police accused Nicholas Ackerman, 19, of West Mifflin, Allegheny County, of disorderly conduct and the purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of liquor or malt or brewed beverages Sept. 13.

Officer Edward Ostrowski alleged, in citations filed Sept. 17, that Ackerman, who was under the age of 21, smelled of alcohol, had glassy bloodshot eyes and slurred speech.  

A $461 fine was listed for the purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of liquor or malt or brewed beverages offense and a $115 fine was listed for the disorderly conduct offense.

Pitt-Johnstown police accused Gregory Knebusch, 18, of Oakdale, Allegheny county, of the purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of liquor or malt or brewed beverages Sept. 19.

Officer Dan Smith alleged, in a citation filed Sept. 25, that Knebusch consumed a malt or brewed beverage while being under 21 years old.

A $461 fine was listed for the offense.
