Ticket rubbish may cost $180

Pitt-Johnstown police charged Zachary Ryan Smith, 26, of Stoneboro, Mercer County, with scattering rubbish Sept. 26.

Officer Glenn Berkey alleged in a citation that Smith tore up a parking ticket on his vehicle in a Biddle Hall parking lot.

A $180 fine was listed for the offense.

Pitt-Johnstown police also charged Giuseppe Gianluca Nicola Lazarro, 20, of Glenshaw, Allegheny County, with underage purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of alcohol Sept. 22.

Officer Tabitha Leary reported that in a citation that Lazarro was near a Briar Lodge consuming nine Natural Light beers, lied about having ID and refused to stop when ordered.

A $455 fine was listed for the offense.

Police also charged Hope Elizabeth Poorbaugh, 18, of Berlin, Somerset County, with disorderly conduct Sept. 23.

Leary reported that Poorbaugh was between Laurel Hall and the Student Union and admitted to drinking and needed to be helped off of a sidewalk.

A $205 fine was listed for the offense.
