Alcohol, drug grinder lead to citations

Pitt-Johnstown police charged Louis Campbell III, 18, of South Park, Allegheny County and Connor Smotzer, 18, of Leechburg, Armstrong County with the purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of liquor, malt or brewed beverages Sept. 10.

Officer Glenn Berkey said he saw Campbell in Hickory Hall  and Smotzer in Laurel Hall, both intoxicated by alcohol to the point that they needed medical attention, according to the affidavit.

A $455 fine was listed for each charge.

Campus police charged Vincent Kough, 21, of Harrisburg, Dauphin County with disorderly conduct Sept. 12.

Berkey said he saw Kough creating a hazardous or physically offensive condition by an act that serves no legitimate purpose by possessing a marijuana grinder. Kough admitted that the grinder was his, according to a citation.

A $255 fine was listed for the charge.
