Police cite poor student conduct

Pitt-Johnstown police charged Daniel Connolly, 18, of Pittsburgh, with disorderly conduct Jan. 16.

Officer Edward Ostrowski said he saw Connolly urinating on the sidewalk near Hawthorn Lodge while others were in the area, according to a citation.

Ostrowski noted in a citation that Connolly is not a Pitt-Johnstown student, but added that Connolly was cooperative.

Connolly was fined $204.50 for the disorderly conduct charge.

Campus police charged Amber Maurer, 20, of Johnstown, with disorderly conduct Jan. 16.

Officer Tabitha Leary said she saw Maurer in Maple Hall creating a hazardous and physically offensive condition, according to a citation.

Leary said Maurer was inebriated to the point where she needed to be transported to the hospital.

Maurer was fined $454.50 for the disorderly conduct charge.
