Pitt-Johnstown Sodexo manager Victor Costlow said prices have been adjusted at Pitt-Johnstown’s Tuck Shop and Brioche Doreé, after an analysis examined competitor prices and prices at other Sodexo retailers in the region.

While the total Pitt-Johnstown price increase was 3 percent, that doesn’t mean everything was increased.

While the menu at the Brioche Doreé had price increases, Tuck Shop brownies and Jazzman’s tea both  decreased.

At least some students said they did not notice.

Junior Sam Hanau said he has noticed the price increase. Hanau has a meal plan so he just uses his points.

“I wouldn’t spend cash down here,” Hanau said.

Students could get a cheaper bottle of soda at the convenience store or even a cheaper meal at McDonald’s.
