Campus Police incident reports received an unexplained change last week, with dozens of events listed as “CSA” reports.
From Nov. 29 to last Wednesday, police listed 34 cases under the header “CSA alcohol,” two as “CSA drug” and a handful of others – including sex offenses – under similar titles.
Most of the events were submitted in bulk by Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution coordinator Jake Harper, according to the incident reports.
Most took place in residence halls, the vast majority in freshman dormitory buildings.
A Campus Police officer said the “CSA” listed by police stands for “Campus Security Authority.” The officer said he wasn’t sure which campus employees the term entails.
Harper was not available for comment.
