Discounts on Pittsburgh sporting events, and performances are among the advantages of being a University of Pittsburgh student.

Pitt-Johnstown students can get season football tickets for $25 that include admission to all regular season home games.

In addition to discounted tickets, students have the option of taking a bus from Pitt-Johnstown to Pitt-Oakland for the home games free of charge.

Pitt basketball tickets are $5 for a regular season game, and $2 for an exhibition game. The Pitt vs. Duquesne city game is $10 for students.

Student tickets can be purchased by logging onto the Pittsburgh Panthers website using your Pitt email or Peoplesoft number.

Another student discounts can be found on the

Pittsburgh Cultural District website (culturaldistrict.org) under Pitt Arts. Pitt students and faculty/staff can find promotional codes for discounted tickets to many Pittsburgh performances.

This page also can be accessed through My Pitt, under the “University Services and Information” link.

Pitt Arts discounts include performances of the Pittsburgh Ballet, Pittsburgh Opera and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

Also, discounts are available for Civic Light Opera, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and the Pittsburgh Public Theater.

Students can also get discounted or free visits to many of the museums in the city. The Andy Warhol Museum and the Mattress Factory Art Museum offer discounts to UPJ students.
